USC Motivated Decision-Making project
As of Jan. 5, 2015: eCortex, Inc. was awarded a 4-year, $640,000 subcontract by the University of Southern California (USC). This subcontract is in support of the NSF grant titled 5R01GM109996-03, "Integrated Cognitive Modelling for Risky Decision-Making". This project is a collaboration with Stephen Read and Lynn Miller at USC, and seeks to understand the neural basis of human decision-making in service of reducing risky decisions. It employs our PVLV model as a portion of our larger research program on dopamine and motivation.
